its a simple matter of physics mate, the foot to surface impact ratio for running is three to four times your body weight compared to about one times your body weight for walking/biking. Once u wear out the cushioning, say hello to pain. If u want to run, then run. Not everyone will develop problems earlier than usual, but many others will. Your risk of injury is greatly increased by running...especially as u age.

it is a fact that it affects people negatively (hard on the joints etc). where you could argue is that for some the benefits out weight the negatives and for others the opposite but you can't take away that there are negatives to running. you can actually say both with certainty and i choose to say running isn't good for you. i workout regularly and it has done me a lot of harm BUT i feel that the benefits outweight the negatives so i think workingout is good for me you could argue the opposite as well.

seriously...i sit on my ass all day at work and played sports all through school so only makes sense that exercise would be an important part of my life. not sure why so many people are so lazy and don't workout...makes no type of sense. even the occasional long walk.
