you are right. it is not insignificant, they are just doing a good job of containing it. it remains a serious threat worldwide. i don't know fi canceling the show is appropriate but if he doesn't feel safe for himself or his fans he has every right to. or maybe he needed a vacation and used it as an excuse for a day off.

If you're going to be afraid of SARS, get out of DJing. All the smoke, the inherent risk of being around people drinking, the dangers of automobile (let alone air) travel... they are all high-risk activities on par with SARS.

alberta isnt SARS free.

but there hasnt been any transmission in the city, one case came here from Hong Kong via Vancouver, but it seems to have been contained.(Or so we hope)
