Well, since I am half Latino I would say that you are wrong about the hatred part. My Mexican-immigrant grandfather fought in WW2 in the pacific. This has nothing to do with hatred. This has to do with breaking laws and border control. As for the house I live in, well, it was built by a construction company, and I seriously doubt that they used illegal labor for it. Especially when you consider the strict building codes they have to meet (trust me, I know, I just fished helping my dad build his house). As for agriculture, if the illegal immigrants were made legal then they could get minimum wage and then the price of produce would go through the roof so I seriouly doubt that this is about cheap labor. BTW, I have a lot of LEGAL immigrant family that works as California farm workers and California is the biggest produce producer in the world. Can you guys start giving me some educated/experienced replies now? |
LoL dude, you tell us to give educated/experience replies and so on, and at least in my eyes you are the one looking bad. First of all, farmers in California and all over the farming states, there is illegal imigrants working, as well in construction areas, maybe not building the 5 stars hotels, but other things, they do the painting, they do the gardening, and a bunch of other things that Americans won't do, and that's why the US government it's not going to the farming industries to raid them. For more info to you, why do you think Vicente Fox (Mexican president) came to talk to Bush?!?! About the Oil in mexico and, for Bush to legalize all the illegal imigrants working here, and have them become residents or have benefits such as health care and so on, also, they are cheap labor as mentioned. And well, they aren't only mexicans but also from other central american countries. Many don't just cross the borders but come through VISA and just stay passed the time due their stay.
And for my own experience, here in Florida, I know many of contractors and companies that have illegal imigrants painting buildings, working on the gardening, passing out newspapers, changing floor tiles, and a bunch bunch of other works. And this imigrants didn't come from the borders, but through the airports. So man, you can't come and say that they come and do the bad things here, in fact, they stabilize the economy, and the US government does not want to recognize that, but if you remove all the illegal imigrants, then we are talking big problem. I know that them crossing the borders is bad and stuff, I know, then the job there is to reinforce that part, but, after all, the US ends up winning. Remove all the illegal imigrants from those areas I mentioned, and pray for food man.
From what I read from you, I take it as if you would rather have the borders reinforced, but heaviny illegal imigrants not getting the citizenship, it's worst then heaving them not legal. Just do some logical thinking about.
