i would get at least 1 gig of ram. One nice trick for more performance. Format a 2gig partition on your hard drive and use it for virtual memory. Change all the folders that windows uses for temp files to that 2 gig partition.

That sounds like a good idea .. What folders dos windows use for temp files ? .. and is there enything els i need 2 change in that paratition to make it for virtual memory ? ...

I got another question .. This one is for the cubase users :
Howcome when I get an overload in cubase , inlike logic it sticks and dosnt cool off after a while .. Every time i get an overload i need 2 restart the program. Is there eny way 2 fix this ? .. and alsow when I open the project im working on the performance meter starts at 20% .. Y is that ?!

A partition is a part of an HD. Say you have an HD of 40Gb, you could chose to use only one partition of 40Gb (probably named "C"), or more smaller partitions (named "C", "D", "E",..). A good program to create and manage such partitions is Partition Magic.

ok cool i'll look into that...i know that i have a c,d,e drive already, but more would help organize my computer...
