I get that a lot, my sister is a huuggggeeee worker that does all this overseas aid and shit, and she is always pestering me about stuff, parents are both huuuuge church people and support all these organization that help etc etc.
but.....
I look at stuff like that, and I feel sorry for them, but I also know that this is going to happen no matter how much effort, dollars, and work we put into help organizations that go out there and try and stop stuff like this.
I'll do my bit, but when people ask me how I feel about things like this etc etc and why I don't do more I always tell them:
Because I can.
Not in a bad, derrogatory tone, I just feel that since I have the opportuniy to live in north america, in a non-poverty, disease riddled place, I am going to take advantage of my situation and do all that I can to enjoy it.
I guess it just pisses me off that so many people worry about bad shit all the time.
