Agreed. Jules is a huge fan of white label records which are made by these people he is refering to. I think it creates a lot of variety-- which is always good.

if he thinks that trance industry is like that he knows nothing about mainstream music
everyone fades away in a year unless you are a white rapper because that caters to the majority of white people listening to rap

if you read it, he didn't say l-vee was a one hit wonder, he said he produces quality records under his green martian guise

I know this might be off topic, but reading the current posts made in this thread about the music scene, it's seems to me that if you are a decent DJ who cranks out more than one huge tune, you will be one of the tops in the world. Still, there is a lot of luck involved there. You may think the tune you've written is the best tune ever produced, but that's pretty meaningless if no one plays it and no one else likes it.

Anyways, now on topic. I think if some DJ that you all had respect for, like Armin or Sasha, had made that statement, you'd all be going "Yep, uh-huh. He's exactly right." As much as we love the music, I'm sure Jules knows more about the scene than any of us do.
