And yea, I hate that when people show their ignorance and refuse to even admit to the mere possibility that they're wrong (about the "Why are you playing techno?") I think my biggest pet peeve is when people ask me why I listen to techno or something like that. When I explain that I'm listening to, say, trance, then they come back the next day and I have a house set going on, the converstaion will usually go like this:
Them: "Dude what's with the techno?"
Me: "What techno?"
Them: "Oh sorry it's trance isn't it?"
Me: "Well actually this is a set of deep house with a little acid thrown in"
Them: "Huh?"
Me: *sigh* "Guess I just love the techno"
Them: "Ok man, whatever floats your boat." *Leaves*
Me: *Flip-off* (whispered) "Fuck YOU!!! Dumbass..." |
I get that a lot. Even my family...
It's so frustrating being in a high school too. All those damn punks that want to listen to shitty rap , or hip hop, or whatever they want to call it. A PERSON SAYING WORDS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE ACTUAL MUSIC!
