on a related issue, there was a cool program regarding the plague that occured in london in the late 1600s on TLC. It was interesting to see how one tiny wrong assumption brought the death of hundreds of thousands of people. With all the technology we have today, mother nature still likes to prove that she is number one. The WHO are scared of a soon to be plague outbreak(not SARS) because the plague was not fully disposed of...and may have mutated to something that would reject any of our antibiotics.

I guess SARS is one reminder that we are not superior behings
