This might give you an idea of how much snow we got around my part of town. The pic is of my sister and her friend running through the snow.

now confirmed that the snow killed 3 people, and may have played a part in a 4th death

3 ppl died of heart attacks moving the near 60 CM of snow that fell.
60 centimeters
thats a fuckload of snow

the 4th person seems to have either been hit by a car, or slipped on the icy road, then run over by other cars(nothing certain yet)

Yeah no shit!!!! It was something like 38/42 days with precipitation. We were spoiled this winter so we were bound to start paying at some point. It's all good now though and to the people in Calgary that were laughing at us last week cause of their temps. in the mid-20's all I have to say is

Karma

yes 3 ppl died as a direct result of the snow

the 4th as it turns out was a victim of a hit and run, and then run over by 2 or 3 more vehicles.

Holy shit poor bastard, like getting run over once was bad enough. I don't understand how someone has a heart attack while shoveling snow. Thats just fukked up.

That's pretty common. Snow shovelling is hard work and that is the reason why I moved to Vancouver....for my safety

it was super wet snow.
My driveway would normally take 10-15 minutes
it took 45 and when I was finished, the 1st half had snow on it already and I was sweating buckets. It was hard work.
