mixing breaks

now when people say "mix breaks" thats refering to mixing the song in after the trance song has "broke" down. Which would yield in a more up lifting mix. Am i correct in what I have just assumed?

The excercise I use most often is trying to keep two songs matched as long as possible. Sometimes, I will move the pitch around on one, and try to rematch the beats quickly. Or I will pick up the needle, and set it down randomly on the record and try to match it up.

Challenge yourself, and you will get really good I'm dead serious, the harder you make it on yourself, the better you will become!

just put 2 records on, doesnt matter what they are and match them. Do it again, again, again, again, and again till you got it. Then you may move on to the next 1 where you will try again, again again again and again... Beatmatching is THE hardest things to learn...

I am pretty good at it, but it takes me an incredibly long time to get it "just right" so I dont have to worry about it while I am making my transition. I figure

i know one;

song "a"-- in da club (50 cent)
song "b"-- will i ( ian van dahl )

good luck
