I think i'll be "different" from everyone else in this thread and download it, then burn it to a cd.. rather than buy it. Going to the store is hard for me cause i would be away from the computer for too long.. and get panic attacks...

It's simple, promos are pressed and given to radio stations to get anticipation built up for the record...

Coincidentally, if anyone here really, really wants to buy it now I'm sure some people are selling promos on ebay as we speak for outrageous sums of money.

I presume you weren't a fan of the 'wide angle' album either then? Coz its full of orchestral chords, courtesy of the Russian federal orchestra

That would be "Higher then a Skyscraper" which was dropped as the opening song on Hybrids recent XFM Radio set (April 25th, 2003). Awesome song, and great CD from the Swansea lads !

I think its an excellent combination of film scoreish sounds, ambient grooves and chilled breaks. It has a definate darker feel to it than "Wide Angle" which is good if you ask me. My favorite tunes are "True To Form", "I'm Still Awake", "Higher Than A Skyscraper", and "Out Of The Dark". 3 of those tunes feature a new male vocalist and he sounds outstanding. Really fits Hybrids style well. Anyone know the name of the guy? Anyway this album definately lives up to my expectations. Me likey lots!!

Pulled from my post in the music forum (I gotta start remembering to check this forum damnit). Anyway this album rocks of course. I'll be picking this one up for sure. Not that I needed to be convinced it would be good I mean...its Hybrid damnit. That pretty much means automatic purchase.
