in the UK there is a lot of rock bands flying about (e.g. muse, radiohead etc etc) and most ppl would say that is the music of the UK... but as far as electronic music is concerned.. its all about Progressive House, Hard House, and yes im sad to say fuckin garage music... >>spits<< these are all the 'homegrown' genres... of course there are ppl makin the trance, techno and everything else too

but in all seriousness, are there any americans making trance? sadly all we hear on radio is top 40. I have to listen to a fuzzy high school station to get trance on friday nights only ;p there is just no exposure to trance/techno... I discovered it blindly on napster when I was looking for classical music (barber's/orbit's adagio).
