i woke up today at 11 and i have the BIGGEST HANG OVER!!
i still have a hang over, but its gradually passing by...
alright, about the night!
we got there around 8 and much to our suprise there was already a lot of people standing in line. We didn't expect to see a lineup until 9 or so, but its good that we came earlier while standing, the guys decided that to go to the liqour store and get some booze. We were gone for about an hour and i drank the cheap ass shit 10% beer i bought 2 bottles and when i came back around 9:15 i was already boozing lol I finished off the next bottle and finally we got in
I cudn't believe it, but the people were so friendly and overall everybody was dancing. So it was Steve Porter that was rockin' the place before Sasha i didn't who the guy was spinning before Sasha, but damn, Steve put up an amazing house set! Sasha came on at 12:35 and started off pretty slow & mellow. It was alright, but the highlight of the night (well at least for me) was when Sasha started dropping breakS! he played an half an hour of mainly progressive breakS, but they were banging! some songs i recognized were DJ Tiesto - Obsession [Nubreed Remix] and other 2 that i cant remember now lol
I guess everyone now knows about the free booze, well me and basically the whole crew of TA's got plastered
while on topic on Sasha, guys i think Sasha is spinning now what he really loves the most from 98 to now Sasha has had a talent for ambient and hell i think hes a genius! if you listened to his early stuff, it was all ambient, pure ambient

Yeah I think I realized early on that all prior engangements for the next day were off once i saw a hand full of drink tickets. I rescheduled the interview so i should be ok.

no way we'd see an event like that again any time soon, I can't imagine how much money goldclub lost due to the event. But hey big tobacco always has lots of money I suppose! Start scanning for the next Big Dj Small Club goldclub shindig! I'm SO there!

Well I'm back in god foresaken pickle lake. What a blast last night. I got in line around 630 because I wanted to be sure I'd get in. I ended up meeting some great people in line and the time just flew by. Got into the club and that thornhill dj ?sean miller? was tearing it up. The porter came on, I never really got into his set though. Perhaps I was just warming up or something. Sasha came on and just owned until he walked off. I've always been anti-sasha, but he sure changed my mind last night. He seemed to know exactly what song I needed to hear next and played it. It was totally perfect. I guess he didn't do it for many other people in there, but damn I loved it. Nice to finally meet up with some of the people posting on here! I can't wait to see some of the pictures tatgirl took.

Now THAT was fun, jeeeeesus! Three bottles of Rev in a powerade bottle in line, two drink tickets multiplying into 6 drink tickets, then finding the Rep for Vodka vbase and getting free vbase from that point on all night. Steve Porter was the biggest reason I wanted to go, and he fucking rocks!! Woke up this morning, drove to the airport, fell asleep in the terminal only to be woken up by the airline rep. They were looking for me as everyone else was on the plane already. hahaha, finally finally sitting down 12 hours later.

Worth all of it though, shouts out to everyone I saw last night! Lots of names and faces to remember, and I'm dead to the world after a woping 4 hours sleep last night.

to each his own music wise, but crowd wise i disagree with you. No fence, if you say that the crowd sucked last night, then i dunno what kind of places/clubs you like to go

What a night!
Seriously, no complaints.
Good people + good tunes = good times.
Since I'm so late to posting, most of everything has already been said.
All I have to say is this: Guv bouncers were there, and they were actually relaxed, smiling, and being nice! I nearly fainted.....

This party had one heck of a good vibe!!!! This party was WAY better than Pete Tong's visit (and that was fun too).

Shout out's to all the TA's- Time2Burn, StereoPrincess, gamma, blue neon, tw1tch, drgoodvibe, failsafe, arcticboy, RyanM, SpecialK, and all the sidekicks u came with- u were great to party with, and thanks for holding a spot in line for me. Neon- you're sister is INSANE!!!! But also very fun... Lots of fun pics were taken- not a sad face in the crowd.

Sean Miller opened up the show (I heard he's actually 26 or 28- and he looks 14!). Porter went on after and definitely stole the show, but the whole party was a blast. Everyone was uber-drunk. (thanks Kevin for teaching me the magic words: "put this on Dan's tab"). V-base rocks!

Sasha played Tiesto? where was i? Probably too busy 'getting up and getting ill'. What a tune! It always gets the crowd pumping, whether u like it or not.

As- I'm beginning to think that maybe you shouldn't drink.... you're having bad luck with that at parties lately. The pics will prove it. I'm surprized I don't have bruise marks on my neck from all the attempted strangling u did on me. Sheeesh, buddy!

Graham/ Failsafe - glad u made it back to gawd forsaken Pickle Lake in one piece. Hope u can make it back to civilization again real soon.

Nat
