Tha Blank and Jones boking problem at utopia ws just a big missunderstanding between the two parts booking agency and all peoples involved. If you go take a look at B&J website Oh! miracle there's no pop up saying that they'll be not playing. Both parts are talking right now and it's always tha best thing to do in this situation.
As Backman said , stop shitting on us Delstar... Yeah the majority of Montreal crowd is fucking stoned to a point that they event don't listen to who's dj is playing. I go to agree with you. But that's rha clubbers crowd. Montreal scene is way smaller than Toronto's one. So there are less real techno lovers if you compare both scenes. The majority of montreal's parties are about 400 to 1000 peeps. You have at some occasion underground parties who get 2000-2500 but its really rare. The only big parties here are done by 514 who get tha clubbing scene. In toronto you get bigger parties with bigger crowds where there are more techno lovers cause your scene is bigger.
Man if you take a look at Montreal's real techno lover you'll see that we are not that fucked up.We are just less than other cities.
Those people who don't give a fuck on who's djs are on the line up are pissing me off too. But our scene is growing....... one day Big Names will get more entrance at rave/club than thos stupid houssy djs as lafleche , luc raymond , Stephane whothefuckhehis etc.
