Did you apply anywhere? Do you have any ideas of what's next? Are you thinking of doing masters?

Really?? What do you think of the program over there. Uh I haven't really been applying anywhere because I haven't found anything that didn't require less than 5 years experience. I've had a couple interviews up in York Region but they didn't turn out. But I'm doing OK right now, I've got a full time job which gives me spending money but I've constantly got my eyes open. If you find anything that you think would be of interest to me, send it my way.

As for what I'm going to do next, I'm looking into an international internship through DFAIT, CIDA, or the UN to somewhere like Africa or South America for a year. I figure that would be good experience as well as provide me with the relief I need to supress this travelling bug I've aquired.

As for my master's if I ever decided to get one, it wont' be for a few years...just because I think I need a bit of a break to do the things that I want to do, get some experience under my belt, etc etc.

What about yourself? What are your plans??

I actually prefer working over school.

Ya I don't blame you but I love learning new things. It's such a good feeling. I just don't like the evaluation part of school

my Advice

Congrats to all.

My advice to you is enjoy your summer because its the last one you can have irresponsible fun. They teach you allot at school but they always failed to mention how routine and predictable your life is with a full time job. Within 1 year you feel like youve gone from 22 to 35.

Other than that life is very good with money.

U of T is not what it is considered to be. I actually regret not going to McGill when I had the chance. But, here I am.. and three years later I'm starting to feel indifferent to it. The professors don't know how to lecture, it's all very distant. I feel as if no one is there to help you. However, I do like the field in itself and I am thinking of Masters because it will allow me to focus on what I really want to get out of this. I don't know where yet, might do it in Europe somewhere. Then again, I'm not sure I want to be studying for additional year/two. And this field is not even my target, but close I guess.
I love your idea of international 'missions', I thought of that too and I am definitely up for it and would jump at a chance, wherever it may present itself, it will be unique. So, if you hear anything or engage in something of sort, please inform me

try these (not all in our field, might not be in your interest at all, but some are very appealing):

Those links look good, I ran through them and will definitely check in more detail soon.

I really want to do travel journalism & photography.. don't know where that desire will get me. I decided I am going to be optimistic.
