OMFG! the movie is huge and when I say huge, I really mean it! too bad that I left before the end of the credits... oh well, I'll have to go see it again also, am I the only one who would have trade a fighting scene for an old-school gun scene such as the lobby one in the first movie?
I really liked the "French cursing" scene, being myself a francophone, this scene was hilarious, everybody in the theatre was laughing

hehehe yea that was halerious... his wife is a biatch and a half!
just sell him out like that.
what happened in the theatre (what was this altercation?) and what theatre did you see it in?
i know infront of silver city there was and ambulance while i was waiting for my friends...
n e ways, i planned on seeing it twice (at least...more likely three times) so missing the 'gift' at the end of the movie isn't that bad...it'll be able to see it twice instead of three times

Ok caught the flick tonight and after a few years of anticipation for a sequel to the first great movie I have to say.....I was disappointed. Now I know some of you have already hyped it and think it was the greatest sequel ever. Personally I liked X2 ALOT better. I have to give a point of view from someone who wasn't expecting it to be vastly improved over the first as that was great in its own right. But really, for all the hype and anticipation, for me it fell flat. Waaaay too much boring zen chit chat...really slowed the movie down. There were good action scenes don't get me wrong and great street chases but the fight scenes were a bit drawn out and overdone at times. The first movie was great because they were able to balance those scenes out so well but this one seemed too over the top.
Without giving too much away, the whole scene with the guy explaining to Neo what has been happening to him etc. is so hard to grasp and really left the audience shaking their heads in wonder. Keep in mind Reloaded and Revolutions aren't separate movies and by the end you'll understand what they meant when they said its basically one movie chopped into two parts.
Anyway, I do suggest seeing X2 if you haven't seen it already - great action from start to finish and a simple, clear, yet strong storyline.

the movie is based on zen buddism teachings, you can't detach it from n e part of the matrix...even the first one it's intertwined...
sure the story wasn't engaging as the first one, but it's meant to flow onto revolutions...
btw...the last part is trippy...don't u agree? raises some interesting questions about how far the matrix really extends...
