hmmm....not too sure what to say about last night. of course tiesto was holdin it down, but i was a little disappointed with his selection of tracks...most of the ones he was playing, i've heard armin play 3 months ago. i guess i was expecting newer and more unknown songs. i saw him in dc at nation back in october and that night just owned last nights. maybe it was the fact that it was so crowded that you couldn't even dance and rock out to it. don't get me wrong- he played some really good stuff and i still had a wonderful time. i done near died when he dropped "as the rush coomes". always a pleasure seeing the familiar ta's-- joel, dave, ryan, yujie, sammy, mario, jose, beema, as well as meeting some new ones like dj2kta. and of course i must throw some love to my baby boy, whom without which, the night wouldnt be half as amazing. |
Maybe it's cause back in October you weren't a TA and really didn't know anything about trance, but now you are a TA, and largely in part to me you know a lot of trance songs
it's true he has been playing a lot of stuff Armin has dropped on ASOT already, but face it, if you knew now what you knew back in October...you would've thought this set was mindblowing and you wouldn't have known any of the tracks
cause of this effect, a lot of TA's have stopped paying attention to tracklists and downloading singles so when they go see a DJ, everything seems fresh and new...

umm...i've liked trance for 2 years, just because i am relatively new to ta doesnt mean i cant ID songs!! in october, i knew a lot of the songs he played, but it was overall funkier and more tiesto-like. hahah beema- dont flatter yourself...yes you have hooked me up with songs in the past, but you aren't my trance god.
