I make tribal.

I also incorporate some progressive, tech-house, and breaks into it, for a nice overall sound.

I just signed my first contract for a 12" release for the first tribal track I made (along with my buddy).

I have no good percussion samples atm, so making percussion-oriented music isn't such a great idea

Thats why im getting very interested in making a thread to discuss percussion, how to get them, tips on how to layer them, and so on? hat do u think, are there enough interested people for that?
I think percussion and beat elements are being MUCH forgotten in this forum...

I've been trying to produce drum&bass and breakbeats and chillout, but it's difficult because I keep coming up with new trance melodies.!!

That happens so much with me, i hav so many started projects that i never finish cuz i hav others ideias when making it... I aways end up with things completely differene from what i firstly imagined, guess i should exercise my sense of goal

I like D&B too! My only complain is that there are so much crapy, dry songs... But i love these more trancy and full of cool elements flowing within the beat. Theres a guy in the forum, his nick is Maaz, that works in a very cool cross-genre of D&B and Epic Trance.
Breakbeat is cool too, i like it even more than d&b, cuz the tempo is more like trance/tachno/house.

My main goals now are achieve good fat-ass trance and progressive trance/house songs. Want to make techno, psy and some other stuff later.

Flotser, maybe we can trade some info on psy.

I thing that a good quality progressive is being the biggest challenge...
