in a word, no. all of ireland is part of great britain, although only northern ireland is part of the united kingdom whereas eire isn't.

The island of Ireland is Irish. The British temporarily occupy it, illegally. I say illegally because the majority of people in Ireland don't want British interference in our country. I, like many people, refuse to recognise the northern state at legit, and there's nothing worng in actually physically resisting foreign interfernece. Much and all as I recognise that some people living in Ireland are of British descent it doesn't give them the right to dictate to the political structue of the country, as they do.
