I'm voting against the Sony MDR-V###DJ series of headphones.
Why?
Because the overall quality of that series is more like MDR-VCRAPDJ: Extremely muddy sound (and yes, even the MDR-V700DJ sounds excruciatingly muddy to my ears) compared to both cheaper and more expensive headphones from other brands, even on expensive equipment. Worse, none of the VCRAPDJ series is anywhere near as durable as their high prices would imply: When I pay $150 for a certain silver Sony DJ headphone, I'd expect $150 worth of sound quality and $150 worth of durability/reliability. But sadly, it isn't worth even one-fourth as much in any area of performance or durability/reliability. In other words, I wouldn't pay more than about $35 for that piece of junk known as the MDR-V700DJ.
I haven't heard other so-called "DJ" headphones, so I cannot pass judgment on them.
