i thought slinky was awesome. lisa lashes and signum did it for me

dave lea was quite poor at mixing, but i was amazed by his track selection (especially his opener)

anyone know the name of the first tune he played or any others?

and yeah, Ghostface, I fully just about gurned myself to death when Second Wave was played. Having finally heard it out, I rate it as one of the best big-room trance tunes EVER -- just massive

sounds like I missed out on an awesome party, I was at the snow playing Falls Creek. Not much snow yet but looks like it will be an awesome season.

Mark (SQ-K): Celmp3 is an awesome tune. For some reason I didnt think you would dig this one. Glad you do!!

Yeah was a good night. Ok i thought. Not many people but and a lot of wankers.

Signum and Zabeila were highlights for me. Signum's set big room style reminded me so much of Crasher. Was amazing!!! Danced my ass off!!

Stips - nice to see ya, hope you had a good one!

'erewego.

Crowd was usual bunch of trashies, meatheads, weirdos, old people, ridiculously young people and people who actually went to hear some dj's play.

James Zabiela. wow. all reports raving on about how good he is were all spot on. i was amazed. stunned. sampling, mixing, scratching, all bouncy as fuck, solid percussions, synths, bass kicks, rolling into one another... fark me it was darn near the best set i've ever seen (thats right, seen, coz watching him mix and sample and scratch was just as great as dancing along to the tuens).

Every track had something new, but still carried a classy bounce that kept me dancing away. Brilliant.

Crowd didn't know anything about him, therefore didn't dance, so that was a downer. But i didn't care.

What kept it from being the best set though, was the fact that he did fall flat towards the end there, was expecting a rather large finish, but he just sorta tailed off... not to worry, still well worth it.

Hernan played what i expected, big room prog. heavy basslines, thumping percussions and layered melodies. Kate bush vs infusion and dirty sticky floors were highlights there.

Only went into the main room to see the setup and crowd. both were going off, good to see.

Generally, there was no vibe in the prog and breaks room's. only caught the end of coombs' set, he played alright i spose.

Exam on tuesday was kinda farked. 3 hours. hopefully i've passed it. We'll see.
