Hey Starfox, I have Nero ver 5.5.2.4, and with that you can split apart the mix into tracks, and then reconnect them back together without pauses

i had gone over this in a differant thread but il do it again..
k step by step
1.load up nero (duh )
2.goto file ---> Burn Image the window will pop up
3.Then goto ALL FILEs in menu where its hows nris
4.find your cue
5.Load your cue but make sure its WAVE
should work

no worries, but yeh try to avoid mp3s i have a feeling nero can do it but it just stalled with me for like 5 mins then loaded the mp3 cause you know how mp3s can be burnt to audio with nero... yeh so i figured that 5 min period must be that converting bit for such a large file like when you copy a mp3 over it does that status bar thing to audio but yeh its best to do wavs it check its and loads up straight away

Nope JayD, that's not how I do it. I could never figure out how to load a cue file, i ended up spillting the mix into separate tracks and then combining them together without pauses.

Here's how I do it (I'm pretty sure you need version 5.5.2.3 and up):

1) after you load the track you right click the track and select properties.
2) then you select Indexes, Limits, spilts (I don't think any lower versions have the split option). This will load up the track as a oscilloscope (wave diagram).
3) you select and section in the wave and edit. Just start typing in the cues until you are done.
4) Select OK, then the mix will show up as individual tracks. From each track select properties again and zero out the pauses (which are at 2 seconds).
5) that should be it. just burn it on the fly, otherwise the program puts the pauses back in.
