I use soundforge and nero

this is what I do:

-Insert markers in soundforge
-Drag file into list in nero
-Select the file
-right click and open 'properties'
-go to 'indexes, limits and splits'
-click 'split at index positions'
-click ok (a message will appear, "you sure you want to..or somethin to that effect" - click ok)
-select all split tracks
-go back to properties as before
-stay in 'track properties'
-edit pause to "0"
-now select the First track and go back to properties and select 2 seconds (it requires a 2 second gap at the beginning for some reason)
-burn cd.
-voila

Sadly Soundforge doesn't support Disc-at-once burning. For that purpose they released a plugin named CD architect. But now CD architect isn't available as a plugin anymore, only as a standalone (I guess they smelled even more money by doing that).

So gapless cd's can't be done in Soundforge, you'll need to use another prog for that. Either do like people suggested here, or you could also look at other packages like Wavelab or Samplitude that support Disc-At-Once. With packages like that, you only need one program to record/edit/burn.
