man as if the old red wasnt loud enough! i was there for scott bond when i came down to socal and it was great. i cant wait to check out the new place though!

just got the word about the sound system, it is a brand new state of the art, Custom Made JBL system! Mauro Picotto will be the first one to put our new system to the test, and with Techno being played, you know it is going to be a tuff test for the sound system, hehehe,

BTW, dress light...the Mezzanine gets hooooottttttt. It's a smaller club, but the atmosphere can be amazing. It sure was when Tiesto played there earlier this month. It's well known for it's sound system, and more of the big DJs are wanting to play there rather than at the main DJ club here, 1015 Folsom.

I am not a huge fan of 1015, either. But then again, the nicest place is full of SNOBS (Ruby Skye) and has even a worse sound system than 1015. 1015 does have its great nights, though. Like when PvD was here last Saturday, the atmosphere was amazing. I think PvD really likes 1015 because he's not himself there it seems. He was totally getting into the crowd and stuff instead of always looking so shy and serious. Unfortunately, he stuck to the schedule and didn't play much past his alloted time (12:30 - 4:00am). Last time he was here, he played an extra 90 minutes or two hours or something because the crowd was rockin.

As for the Global question, since I've moved out here he's only played in two places that I can recall.

1015 Folsom (a few times). And at the Cow Palace this past New Years Eve (where he played in Pheonix, LA, and San Fran in one night).

Which Global DVD are you talking about? The Bonus DVD that came out with the Global CD in February, or the Global DVD that comes out in late July? Just curious.
