HHC is all over, ever since that fucking god awful game DDR is in every fucking corner store HHC haunts me every where i fuckign go, now Hardcore i dont mind, but HHC is the most god awful shit i have ever heard! it is less talent than rap ! it is HORRIBLE OMFG if HHC hits a bigger nerve in the US i am just getting a fucking fully auto matic weapon and anaihalating the whole country! lmfao HHC is hell! Happy Hard Core = Hugely Horrid crap!
Hard core on the other hand, had its hayday it is done now, just isnt as nice to dance to as new music is.

Genres on the rise, well, Um, world wide i think Psy trance/ Goa is gaining more and more support, and Prog is world wide now for sure, states wise i dont know, each region is into different electronic genres, North East house,
South East, breaks
West, Trance, Jungle
those being prog under house and trance

But in the states i dont think the people for the most part understand trance so i dont foresee it becoming hugely popular anytime soon, and i would rather it remain relatively less common here.

oh come now it isnt that bad. maybe happy hardcore is just too common on the west side. i know of 3 very well respected happycore dj's here in the northeast but thats about it. and yes anabolic frolic sucks. (although happy 2b hardcore 4 is better of them). hardcore is super popular in NY's rave scene so i think ive gotten pretty bored of it. but whats wrong with HHC? why bash a type of music that puts a smile on your face? isnt that the biggest appeal to trance music? its euphoric. and hhc in a way is too.

cheese is most common around here but trance is on the rise thanks to some TA's that want a better party scene.

My stupid local radio station played Heaven by DJ Sammy recently... but other than that, they play no electronic-based dance music. Before sunlight, the last song played was probably Blue by eiffel 65! Lol.

Not considering the commercial sh*t on the radio, hardhouse/hardstyle is popular here, but more and more people are getting into techno.
