Subject: Velocity
Mr. Cardinal,
I recently discovered that the radio show 'Velocity' on XFM 104.9 FM is
being cancelled. I would just like to state my displeasure and lodge a
complaint.
Velocity is one of the few radio shows that Vancouver has to offer that
offers more than repetition of the same few songs and too much talking.
Electronic music is growing in the Vancouver community, and I believe your
decision will be the cause of much upset.
I hope that you will reconsider your decision.

Kate:
I can't say that I disagree with any of your points about the music Velocity
played, however with Xfm's push to play "New Rock First-24.7" we felt that
the music would be a better fit on a station other than Xfm. This move in
no way reflects on the quality of "Velocity" which is excellent.
Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Thanks for your note and thanks for listening to 104.9 Xfm.
Regards,
Patrick Cardinal
