If not today would Iraq have rebuilt its weapons programs after inspectors left a year or two from now? Agreed I cound't say yes for certain, but I don't think that the fact that this stuff has been hidden for so long should diminish the infraction of hiding it to begin with.

The troubling problem is that if Iraq is full of nuclear weapon components, Al Quaeda and similar ogranizations might now get to them first. A thing that wouldn't have happened if Saddam has stayed in power.

I dont think though that bringing a subject from years ago ( 10 years ) up the rise still does not, or will not justify any action the coallition forces took against Iraq. I know.. why would they hide it, but hey.. the thing that would interest me most is if they actually build any of that, fresh and alive.
