Cool

forcing a hole big is bad news and often leads to cracks, best way to do it is just to scrape at it with a penknife, or as i have found, some sandpaper on a pen, coz the pen i hav i slightly smaller than the hole but with the sandpaper on is just smaller than a spindle so it's pretty easy to gague how far i gotta go

and for too big a hole, get the little circular binding stickers, a couple on each side to make the hole really tight, but offset as the spindle will take em out quick enuff.

some company should compile a kit for unslutting/devirginizing
vinyls. one with a spindle sized pusher to force in (naughty!)
to make the hole right, and another with some fast drying liquid
substance to unslut your vinyl...

maybe i should invent one...
i call it, The Vinyl De-Whorer...
or, in the other case, Your Vinyl's First Time...

The De-Whorer is funny, but Your Vinyl's First Time is histerical.

Is the hole too big a problem? Is it bad for your tables?

I kinda like my vinyls a little slutty..........it's easily to "move" it on the table

yeah for me too big a hole is a big problem because when I try to find que my needles act like bambi on ice ( tm ) which makes them skip like FUCK. So, I loose my que and my mix goes into what I would like to call " the famous gamble-face " where I have to put it in somewhere it just doesn`t belong at all, resulting in all kinds of shit, but mostly just bad flow and evil shitty transmissions.
