I don't think it's anti-social to meet people on the internet, I think it's pretty social, i have meet a lot of my friends over the internet and I have also leared to know a lot people better by chatting to them. and it's not like i'm not meeting people in real life!

Unfortunately, I live in a rural area, and the people here generally suck . Sadly I have FAR more intelligent conversations with people online than I do in 'real life'. About the internet making people antisocial, I think that people are anticocial by choice. The web can have more to offer than the people that you have to deal with at work or school or whatever.

Before I came on here I had no life, I hardly ever left the house and was pretty socially inept. I came on here, started talking to some TA's in the chatroom and arranged to meet some of them at a Gatecrasher event. 3 months later 2 of us went to Holland for Trance Energy, 2 months after that we moved to Sheffield and started going to Gatecrasher on a regular basis. I've made countless friends through that club.

Anti-social internet my arse
