I'd play unpredictable sets, like one tym i'd pay upfront and others I'd play unknown tracks and sometimes classic sets, or maybe a combination of them all. I'd mix the set with lots of effects, but still keeping the songs original appeal.

I too would surprise my audience and tease them. Play a little tidbit of a killer track just to tease them and they expect it to come, but than don't play it for another 10 minutes . Fuck with everyone's heads. Try and always have new material, and play accappellas over instrumentals just to spice things up.
