right now i'm on a workout routine for my soccer team, specifically designed for goalkeepers. It includes about 60 mins of abs every other day, plyometrics everyday, and upperbody when not doing abs.

i hate exercise for the sake of exercising. i know it's cheesey, but i love the exercise i get dancing all night otherwise you'll have to get me wakeboarding, playing a sport or something else to gets my competitive side going. i used to try to go to the gym and do things like that at school, but then i realized that forcing myself to exercise was just putting me in a pissy mood.
BUT i do know that being completely inactive puts my in a really nasty mood, so i'm with you on the exercise busychild. my theory on it is that incidental exercise is better than intentional.

I used to work out a lot a few years ago; When I was 14 I could put up 250 on the bench! Lately though, I haven't been doing shit...

my workout routine goes like this....
day 1. chest, triceps, and forarms (and i dont mean beating off )
day 2. back (upper and lower), shoulders, and biceps.
day 3. legs and abs.
then the cycle just begins again. this way, im giving my muscles at least two days rest. i also run and ride my mountain bike at least 3-4 times a week.
i was actually thinking about posting a thread about what dj do you all like working out to. i was working out to this dj snowman set today and it totally got me fired up. his sets are so hard!!!

This Is Just My Day Job

I've been lifting for about a year now, 3 times a week, and have definitely seen results in both strength and body. A few tips I can give u guys, if you wanna increase muscle and don't have time to work 3 hours a day like someone said, you must and I repeat must consume protein. Whether its in the shape of regular food (like chicken, fish, etc.) or protein shakes. For my workout, I consume about 180 g of protein a day, since I weigh around 185. Also if you intend to look for new routines, whether it be cardio or weightlifting, check out www.bodybuilding.com. It is an incredible site with many articles and such.
