RIP TDV

a true pioneer of hardhouse
his productions like the dawn and feel my love would still tear apart dancefloors today, a top notch producer, remixer, and dj

RIP Tony De Vit.

I remember seeing him live a few times back in the day.. ..and what great parties they were. He sure was, and still is, a great DJ, producer and remixer.

RIP Marino Stephano as well.

Another great name and a big loss for the scene.

Taken from the Babydoll website:

"Free for you to download (or you can just listen while you surf): Part 1 of a slamming two-hour mix of Tony de Vit's greatest hits and remixes from Raff and our own MK (Mark Kavanagh), as broadcast on 2FM on Sunday June 22nd. Next up: Part 2."

real audio stream or whatever - quite low quality though

TdV was and still is a legend,a true pioneer and the textbook example itself of how hard house should be done.It is a damn shame that he was taken from us so early. Who knows where hard house had been today if he was still alive.

While we're in the business of condolances, let me also say respect to Christian Morgenstern, who died a few weeks ago of heart failure in his apartment in Berlin. Christian was one of the most talented and creative techno producers Germany had to offer, creating atmospheric and soothing vibes as well as minimal harder tracks with ease. Kanzleramt Recs. has lost one of their biggest talents with Christian's death.

Not heard much of his stuff, but The Dawn is an amazing choon, respect to him! Its always sad to see the scene lose a member, whoever they are, and especially someone who sounds so influential to many people!
