I, very much, still use my tape player in the car. I would never dream of touching one OUTSIDE the car though...hehe. I find that it's a bit hard to find the trance that I'm looking for on tape.

My friend uses that...It's somewhat reliable, but if the CD is slightly messed up, it tends to flip sides and just generally mess up by playing random tracks. Might just be my friend's Taurus, though.

geeee i love tapes. you have to wait for them forever to rewind or ff, i can never remember which side is the one i want, what is the beginning, and they sound like crap!
i only use them to record my mixes sometime at home, only for my own personal use though (to see what i can improve).
i was watching Groove the other day and when i saw that dude put in his Digweed TAPE in his car, i said to myself, "a tape???" haha!
hey when you gotta have trance you gotta have trance...there's no shame...I just got my car stolen and had to drive in a rental for a month with no cd player...so I recorded stuff onto tape...it kept me sane...

I do have a car kit that came with my discman but my discman broke so no help there.
