Jan Johnston has certainly done some classic tracks, but the ones I've heard more recently are weak, very weak (I'm thinking of the tracks she did for Svenson & Geilen and Cor Fijneman). Very trite and cheesy vocals; they all seem to boil down to "i'm hot, have sex with me."

Andain is of course quite new to the scene, but is absolutely on fire right now. As I'm sure everybody here knows, Beautiful Things is simply absolutely gorgeous (Summer Calling is good too, but not at the same level). So, naiive as it may be, Andain and Mavie Marcos take the crown with that one track.

*sighs heavily* i had to close my eyes and click on this one... and now, im not exactly sure which one i clicked on.

although i must agree that jan johnston has proven herself and the fact that she has one hell of a great voice, im gonna have to go with mavie. whereas jan has a very good voice, mavie's vocals completely enchant me.

This is prolly the "hardest" poll I've ever done!

Both singers are top quality .. but if I were to pick one of em' it'd be Jan Johnson over Mavie ..but only by a tiny bit ..
