sorry teckno but i couldnt reframe anylonger. Matt Darey is an excuse for a DJ and is a prime example of DJ's being booked on their studio work. Matt is a master in the studio but in the DJ box he simpley isnt good enough. He played twice in as many months at my local club passion, rank1 was on one of the same nights and matt hasnt dj'd in a very long time. refuses to play at any club unless they have 2 X CDJ1000's installed. Matt tales no vinyl to the club, rips all the tracks he uses at the same BMP and takes a selection of CD wallets with him. matt is just raking it in from his studio work in the dj box. this set will prolly be mint as he can studio perfect it, but in the club hes pants.

I think most of us are excited about possibly hearing some of his new productions rather that worrying about his mixing skills.

Hey, as long as it sounds good to my ears that is all that matters. Blank & Jones aren't exactly the best at mixing either, yet some of their sets are excellent. Basically, I just can't wait to hear some new material from him.
