He's been to NYC more than once there genius. Anyways... I was generalizing. I've seen him a handful of times between NYC & DC, and he never really explores his newest records/cdr's. His ASOT is 2nd to none in radio broadcasts, but his livesets leave much to be desired. It happened to Tiesto a couple years ago, and last year it happened to Armin. That comes along with being a big name DJ I guess. They are happy just playing anthems... it's a disease called Oakenfoldism. I dont know if there is a cure yet.

I was gonna start coming here more often because this is what Trance.nu turned into... WTF! I'm looking forward to seeing Armin @ Roxy dammit, hopefully it'll be a killer night, beotches.

dude, not to be rude or a jerk, but i must point out the obvious. You are wrong. Armin has only ever played in NYC at Roxy on 12/13/02. I know because I was there. It was his first ever NYC gig. He had one scheduled b4 that but had visa problems and was not allowed into the country. Perhaps if you can provide dates/places where you saw Armin in NYC, then I will believe you. On another note, Armin in NYC and Armin in DC are two very different shows. I don't much care for the Roxy crowd. Armin definitely spins better when he's at Glow. NYC is great and all, but the scene up there just doesn't do it for me personally.
