i say try to get demos of them all and try them out, give each program like a week of time (yeah i know it might sound long but I don't think you'll be able to get yourself a good opinion about the program on just a couple of hours) and then try to think about wich program suits you best

in the end the results will be quite the same, it's all about wich program you like the most

hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for the names. ive got a cubase big pack with all vsts and several other tings coming within the next 2 weeks. its like over 700megs, so hopefully thatll be all i need once i get some exp. i looked around on the board and saw that most ppl said to start out with fruity, so thats what ill do. thanks again doods.
