I know these places are a bit out of the way, but here are my suggestions:

El Tamarindo (in Adams Morgan)- 1785 Florida Avenue NW, 202-328-3660
(Mexican/Salvadoran)

Saint X- (near the Black Cat, 14th and T St NW area)- can't find a listing, but this is my friends place (American fare/bistro?)

Oodles Noodles- (19th & L), 1120 19th Street NW, 202-293-3138
(pan-Asian cuisine)

I know there's prolly a lot of new stuff around the club, but all I know is an Irish pub & Chinatown. Someone currently living in DC help us out here!
