Meh, if Darren focused his efforts a bit more on less obviously commercial trance I'd be pleased. He obviously has considerable talent and I can't help but feel it's wasted on the Jurgen Vries audience. Especially since The Wilderness is going to get a vocal mix.

Jesus you guys don't get it do you. Tate has produced some of the most stunning trancers this year and yet all you can do is moan about this one track. What about 'Nocturnal Creatures', or 'Kota', or 'Prayer For A God', or 'Elevation' etc etc.?? There's some incredible tunes, but they get ignored because of one commercial project or because of certain crap UK radio DJs who ignore the quality tunes and go for the obvious. Darren is only one of many producers who have commercial projects - and why do these producers have commercial projects? because they're the only ones that earn them the living. Exactly the same happened when Darren was behind Angelic.

Plus on top of that people who say 'it uses a similar sound to the theme' - i mean - thats one of Tates sounds. Every other trance track uses that same filtered riff noises or strings thats been used since Out Of The Blue, yet NONE of them get slated for it. The Theme was totally original, even if it did get irritating once overplayed, but thats just ignored.

Anyway Ive ranted enough. Wilderness sounds great in clubs, and Tates on amasing form IMO. One of the most consistent producers ever.

have to go with the crowd, everytime darren produces under the jurgen name, the songs are very similar. I do like the track though, not amazing but i like it;.

Vocals are by Shena McSween btw. The vocal mix is a bit cheesy but not too bad: i feared it could be a lot worse. The instrumental version is very nice.

I think maybe the best tune under jurgen vries alias.

Finally puts that catchy synth to good use with a nice tune that is no where near as cheesy as his other productions.

8/10
