I currently use the American DJ PSX...great little deck, but i cant wait to get my hands on a CDJ1000. I have had the pleasure to use one briefly, and I can only say they are unbelievable. As far as cost, I have seen them at Guitar Center for $799 recently, so the price has come down alot. I have not personally used the Denon, but I have seen it in action, and the guy using it says he prefers the feel of the Pioneer. I would like to judge for myself, but how can you go wrong with a Pioneer, especially when every big name DJ is using it?

with the pioneer cdj1000, would it be easy coming from knowing how to mix good on decks and mixing on the cd deck??

like for eg.. if someone explained to me how to use it and then i went out and tried, would i pick it up and be capable of mixing live??

does it work almost identicle to a turntable??

Whats the difference between the CDJ-1000 and the CDJ-1000MK2? Has anyone used both and can shed some light? I'll probably be purchasing one of them within the next month and need to know if the MK2 is worth the extra money.

I have two Numark Axis 9's and they're really great. everything you really need plus some really nice extras, and it's not bogged down by pointless features.
