interesting... haven't listened to that show in a while... they used to play acid house, then good prog, and then some weird shit i couldn't even classify.

100.1 sometimes has good tunes, but mostly psy and acid techno and i don't know exactly when to tune in...

64 The Vortex In The Mix Fri. (8 pm ET), Sat. (3 am and 10 pm ET), and Sun. (9 pm ET): On-hour custom mixes. NYC DJ Cync spins electro/techno/break-beat/trance/tech-house, while NYC DJ Victor Dinaire spins trance/techno mixes.

This sounds promising as Victor Dinaire is a great DJ.

working @ a car dealership and some of the cars have XM hooked up.
listened to these 3 stations and they suck. not worth your investment if listening for quality trax. only if you enjoy old cheese.
cheers

You're not really going to hear good dance music on the radio in the US unless you live in somewhere like Florida, San Fran, Chicago or possibly New York and Phoenix.

NOT chicago, we have around 5 top40 stations here no type of dance, well there was a cheese dance it converted to a mexican station

Well I have Sirius, and all the "guest DJs" are guys I've never heard of, but they still spin good trance. It seems like I hear alot of the same songs frequently, which sucks. XM on the other hand, while having a few commercials, (Sirius has none) you get better quality trance in my opinion. My friend has XM and he told me that he RARELY hears songs being repeated on the electronica channels. The mixes usually are heard at night. The trance is good stuff, sometimes more mainstream, but I guess it just depends on what youre into. I recommend XM overall. I listened to my friend's XM a few weeks ago and I liked it alot. I'm still trying to figure out if the BPM channel is the "real" BPM. Overall I would go with XM. It seemed like the XM sound quality is better too. I would go with a Pioneer head unit by the way.
