Just to let all you people know the Plaza of nations is shut down for raves. Our party the Slinky World Tour was the last show there. It may re-open this december but I think its highly unlikely.

This is what I have been told is the reason for the closure:

In the time the Plaza has been open severe damgae has been done to the carpet, mainly from cigerette burns. Shortly before Twisted 2001 the plaza crew re-carpeted the inside. This as you can imagine was a HUGE cost. They then let 2 more partys go on, Twisted 2001 and The Slinky tour. They said that after these two partys if there was damage to the carpet they were shutting it down for good. Well the carpet was fucked up once again and thats the end of the plaza. I think its so silly because the plaza makes so much money off each party....$50,000 to book the venue (i think that was the amount...may be a bit off). Anyway as far as I know its shut down for good but it may open again later on in the year....I really doubt before the Ibiza tour though. This party will probably be at the PNE is they have PvD and Pete Tong....although I cant see Modern music being able to afford this party.

It doesn't help that Genesis Security sucks. The do nothing, a guy got stabbed and wasn't found till the next morning.

Modern Music AKA: Cyberhippies. There just another promotion company. I actually like there partys and the owner jessi is a pretty good guy. They were the ones throwing Seduction that got cancelled 3 times or somthing like that. I was under the assumption that they were done throwing partys. I dont know how they are going to pull this bad boy off. If the PNE is going to be used there probably looking at over $100,000 in costs.

Hmmmm. Ok for the person that started this thread, where did you see that PvD and Pete Tong were coming. Im looking on teamhardcore and I dont see anyhting about them. This is somthing that they would be advertising LONG before tickets go on sale.

I didn't start this thread but when this event was first posted on teamhardcore it said Pete Tong and PVD, but the lineup has been removed so I'm assuming they aren't going to be there.
