yea, i ALMOST paid the 80 but didnt have the cash.. im glad i did, since now it seems, amazon imported it.

ive heard its mostly katakana, which means most of it (the major parts) would be readable if you are like me and have taken a few years of japanese.

im not sure if its hardback, though i doubt it. i was informed that the package arrived today, and i go home from work in one hour!!! ill update here

understandable, because there are copyright issues to deal with and they cant have used the same names, direct story ties, etc.. but still disappointing.

not much rivals xenogears for its rich, intense storyline. i think most people are expecting that it will live up to that expectation, and tie in with the story somehow. same with chrono cross. people expected a tie-in to chrono trigger, and got game with virtually no references to the original, and an extremely mediocre, average game anyways.

is it me or did xenogears completely run out of budget cuz the entire 2nd cd is just text reading unlike the first cd where you actually go around and do stuff

well, it definitely was more movie-like the last half.. then again, thats what ALL of xenosaga is

i didnt necessarily dislike it, but wish they would have spaced it out a bit through the game
