Ibiza has been very interesting to say the least. I have mixed feelings about certain things down here,,, but all in all itīs more beautiful than I ever imagined.
Oakie/Tiesto/PvD @ Cream: This was an amazing night. I spent 500 eruos,,, got booted out of the VIP area and stayed until the very end. It was one of those nights that went by so fast that it only seemed like I was there for a couple hours. Excellent sets by all the djs. I was very impressed by Oakenfold,,, Tiesto I thought was as good as he usually is,,, and I thought PvD owned. Didnīt catch much of Seb Fontaineīs set,,, but the last dj who played in the second room played some of the best prog house I have heard- simply amazing.
Slinky @ Privelege: Awesome music,,, beautiful venue but hardly any people =( I think that Slinky is doing so poorly at Privelege this year that all of the headliners were cancelled. So... no Marco V or even Dave Lea. Aside from the headliners being cancelled I had a awesome time. I met some very nice people and danced the entire night.
Satoshi Tomiie/Hector Romero/Danny Howells @ Pacha- Meh. This night was a dispointment. The club itself is beautiful as are the people. When I arrived Hector Romero was spinning. His music style was a little boring for my likes but his mixing was absolutely perefect- amazing to watch. Now for the massive let down- Danny Howells. I was told that Satoshi Tomiie was coming on at 4am,,, except instead it was Danny Howells. This guy just killed my night. I tried to sit through his set but I finally I got so mad that I had to leave. Boaring fucking music and average mixing,,, no character or crowd interaction- just fucking brutal. I was super choked I didnīt get to see Satoshi and that I had wasted a hundred euros Iīm not even sure if Satoshi showed up,,, but there wasnīt any way I could stand being in that club any longer.
Judgement Sundays @Eden: WOW. This night was amazing,,, easily the most fun Iīve had here.Eden had the best stereo iīve ever heard in my life =) I was very impressed with Judge Jules- awesome set and awesome mixing. But the most pleasant suprise was Eddie Halliwell. I was BLOWN AWAY by this guy. He is possibly the best DJ I have ever seen. Perfect mixing,,, awesome track selection and amazing crowd interaction (the guy even scratches with one hand behind his back). I stayed to watch John Kelly play 4-5 tracks after Halliwell,,, but I was so exhausted from Halliwell and Julesī sets that I went back to my hotel.
Manumission @ Privelege- THIS NIGHT FUCKING SUCKED. After all the hype Iīd been hearing,,, I donīt think I have ever been let down so much in my life. WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE(12000)and WAY TOO MANY GUYS. Iīm not sure who the djs were that were playing but the were absolutely terrible. I cannot even beging to comprehend how these fools got booked to play at a night like this. Seriously they fucking sucked. Shite music,,, Shite mixing... COMPLETE AND UDER SHITE I would never waste my time or money going to this night again- what a fucking joke. I have heard more people cheer and clap at my clubnight than the 12000 people who were out for this. I still canīt believe how shitty the music was(shite house). I kept waiting for it to get better but it didnīt. ok enough
Cafe Del Mar- Amazing Sunset,,, beatiful ambient music,,, very relaxing.
so thatīs my thoughts so far,,, Iīm going vinyl shopping rite now and still debating if I want to go see Erick Morillo and Deep Dish tonight @ Pacha. Then my last night I think I will be going on a boat cruise with Mauro Picotto and then off to Cream to see Tiesto/Picotto/Nu NRG.
ok bye for now and I miss all you guys
all the best,,,
Danny

and you people say i'm lucky, my luck is nothing compared to that ^^
good to hear you're having a great time out there danny
my plane leaves in 7 hrs and i'm debating whether i should go to lovefields or mysteryland . both line ups are great. mysteryland: dana, kai tracid, dj luna, ferry corsten, pvd, sven vaeth, richie hawtin, marco carola, secret cinema (live pa), michel de hey, timo maas, tomcraft, ladiback luke, jurge, joop, roog, erick e, benjamin bates, erick morillo, harry romero and lots of others. lovefields: fc kahuna, tiesto, michel de hey, jxl, secret cinema, cor fijneman, marco v, armin, astrid, darren tate, benny rodrigues, erick e, roog, 2 many djs. kinda like the LF line up better, but its a 250km drive for us. so if anyone will help me make up my mind in any way, please do so

hahaha, i know exactly what you mean about pacha man, holy smokes, that was the most boring night of my life in what was probably the nicest club i've ever been in, all i did was sit around in different spots all night and say 'this sucks' and yeah howells sucked the left nut, i wanted to throw my shoe at harry romero, what a boring dj, only good tune i heard all night was white stripes -7 nation army, and the people wore the most extreme clothes i've ever seen, you know those fashion shows you watch on t.v., and you see all those retarded fuckin outfits and think 'who the fuck wears this garbage?' well people who go to pacha wear it, all the guys look like hardcore queers, but the women, OMG sexy as hell, if chicks here could shake their ass like them the world would be a better place, lol. and like i said, eddie is the fuckin man, i got the sweetest video of him when he jumped up onto the decks and made everyone go fuckin mental, i've never seen a dj do that and it was fun as hell, my 2 fav tunes from the summer were from sudays there, 'so damn beautiful' and 'when the sun goes down' are just powerhouse, everyone goes wild. ibiza is fun, overpriced, 40 deg everyday is too hot, and if somebody opened a decent restaurant there, other than nasty british food, im sure people would be happy, or atleast me, like who eats beans for breakfast? damn am i happy to be home, and i need to see eddie again soon, i hope he plays guv or something in TO, i got a new fav dj fo sho.
ya mon.
