Hmm, based on my knowledge, no PVd sets from Twilo were EVER recorded, and the one floating around is not from Twilo..
Anyway, my taste in electronic music has changed over the years just like my taste in food and even tv shows...I agree that van Dyk doesn't move me like before, but back then, it was so new, and it was something so fresh to me. With knowledge comes understanding, and then once you understand, you seek to gain knowledge of something else....but I'll never stop listening to PvD...its more than just "trance" in my mind..

Back in 1998-1999, PvD was spinning mostly melodic/uplifting trance. Now, you just never know what to expect from his sets - anything from techno-trance to dark progressive. But he is better than ever at spinning trance - just listen to his Love Parade sets!

There was something about going to Twilo to see PvD in the 90's. It was magical!

concord is a noun no?

in regards to pvd back in the day? i never was particularly a pvd nut and neither am i now. i think i was too young and naive to enjoy the classics back in its earlier days. was barely getting into clubs at that age

btw sander k's quote holds very true...IMO

i liked pvd last year....so many good songs and remakes....his sets were banging as hell....kinda makes me wanna think why tiesto got #1 DJ title....he disappointed me with his productions and remixes (other than his remix of southern sun)

but yes...pvd isn't as good as he was back in the good ol days

I Agree with annon here, PvD throwed way better sets than tiesto, Although I hate it when PvD spinned Fischerspooner in the middle of a great set. Emerge sucks.
