I admit i used to listen to that sort of stuff, when i was younger, but discovered that life was greener on the other side.
The stuff made by artists like, ian van dahl and lasgo is labled as cheese, because those particular artists are trying to appeal to a mass market of consumers, by releasing a song, that follows the exact guide lines of a chart hit, so they produce, what they think people will like.
The general public like vocals, all my friends hate songs without vocals, and don't see how i can listen to them, songs from these producers, always have vocals, thus adhering to the chart hit formula.
Id be suprise if a trance song without vocals got to number 1 in the uk charts nowadays.
