Agreed...thats what i always say...

Not sure why some prog heads say prog is its own genre...then i guess people can call "HARD" it's own genre since there is also HARD Trance and HARD House...

Hard, like Prog, is a subgenre of house and trance...

Even though the word "progressive" is an adjective, like "hard" or "uplifting," it is commonly used as shorthand for progressive house.

Progressive = Progressive house

I don't think you would find many people describe progressive trance as simply "progressive." The word by itself almost always means progressive house.

Why is it so important to fit music into a nice little box? Just listen and enjoy...

progressive in general bridges the gap between house and trance.

Progressive house gains momentum through the track with layers of percussion and a few samples.

Progressive Trance builds its journey through the use of subtle melodies and keyboard effects.

my all time fav prog bashing is something i posted on here a while back. "My hell is being an insomniac listening to prog."

but i've found some good prog since then, so nevermind

i def think prog is its own genre, and progressive-breaks is a very strong sub-genre of breaks imo! proggy breaks own
