I checked out the link and it has plenty of info. But seeing that there are so many sub-genres, I have to conclude that much boils down to personal definition and how structured, electronic or melodic a certain production is.

And this is something I notice amongst the ppl I know. Some call Suicide Commando electro (like me) where others say no it's EBM or Industrial. Same for :Wumpscut:.

The only thing that is cleary well defined are the likes of VNV and Apop. All of em' er being described as future pop and as of this day I'll steer away from anything labeled as future pop known that is is and will be the music which I hate

You mean like Aphex Twin mixed with a pneumatic drill and boeing 747 taking off. (this is not meant as sarcasm)

Or to state it more cleary something that resembles a melody but with lots of noise added to it?

I'm certainly going to check it out

Didn't like Sickness much, not because of the sound, but because it didn't sound special, I mean it's something you forget easily and it was waay to monotone

Couldn't dload Imminent & Synapscape for some reason.

Just wondering: there are loads of other definitions from that link of yours, Acid Junkie. Are the explanations for Industrial, Noise, Dark Ambient, EBM and all other forms of electronic music mentioned there reliable? By the way, this can be considered electronic music, right? Or is industrial too close to rock to be considered electronic music?

ps: Goth music is not necessarily electronic, right?

No, goth music can also contain regular instruments without any electronics resembling metal, folk, medieval, etc...
