Maybe in your circumstance but not all, or infact many ive talked to, like i said in my last post ive owned to sets of Numark kit (decks and mixers) and i wasnt bad on them, yet no better when first getting Techs, after having to get sued to the different torque and such (4 months!!) ive began improving i just wasted my time and money on my old decks
normally i wouldn't have said but i think the 1650 is notoriously bad and for the money you probably paid at least Stanton kit is well known to stand the test of time,
oh well too late now |
Fair play, how long was it before you switched to techs?
Coz I had been mixing on shit-to-mediocre decks for 2 years before I got to touch techs, and mebbe thats where the difference lies. The more experienced you are as a mixer, regardless on what you mix, I guess you can adjust to new decks quicker.
If you'd only been mixing say 6 months and then switched, you'd obviously not notice any difference as you would still be a novice.
Get my point?
