Connected is great, it's nothing ground-breaking but who says everything has to be? I love it. TOOL I'm not sure about... I don't mind the vocals but the rest of the track doesn't exactly leap out at me either. I'm willing to give it more time though.

a dub of "T.o.O.L" would lose its main idea.
i dont know where you guys come up with things like this?? its like just making a half effort to have something negative to say. "kinda cheesy and commercial sounding"
hmmmm.... so because pvd is innovative, meaning he bothers to do something DIFFERENT it gets labelled as cheese or commercial sounding??? what exactly is wrong with these vocals? they are unfamiliar to you in the style of electronic music.... that is not a bad thing at all.
whatever man.... there are comments like that and then there are comments like "it sounds like a predictable pvd song". well, youre gonna nail him for something new, someone else is gonna nail him for making a "classic pvd" song. if you want to say something criticizing a song, at least come up with something worthwhile.
if the vocals bother you guys, OPEN UP YOUR MINDS.
im glad pvd for one has that ability.
and to you people dissing connected, why the fuck should it not sound like a pvd song, thats why we like his music, because he has some great fuckin sounds. connected has only gotten better since its okyo # 7 days.... and if something is commercial, it is THAT, because its been used in a freakin global commercial..... do i have a problem with that? absolutely not. i think pvd's music should reach a far bigger audience that it does.... that is not selling out. that is spreading what u believe in. THE QUALITY DOES NOT SUFFER.
don't mean to single any one out by the way.

Man you kick so much ass, down with the PvD haters! I respect everyones opinions to hate certain tunez but I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THESE TUNEZ. The TOOL lyrics have meaning, asking for a dub is like having a dub of a Matthew Good song or a Coldplay song it just doesn't make sense (to all you dam On A High vocal haters)

at the end of the day the vocals are still shit and the tunes are still pretty commercial and dull.
pipe -> put in -> smoke.
